Mandeep Mangat
Mandeep Mangat is a design researcher interested in applying a posthumanist lens towards design and human-computer-interaction.
Her current masters thesis, while at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, Canada), explores the intersection of Buddhist metaphysics and more-than-human-centered design. In conducting this research, Mandeep's senior advisor is Dr. Ron Wakkary from the Everyday Design Studio where she is also a Research Assistant.
Mandeep holds a BDes, with a major in Industrial Design, and minor in Wearable technology from OCAD University, Toronto, Canada. Prior to her masters program, she was a research assistant at the Interactive Futures Lab, and a design intern at Phillip Beesley Architect Inc..
